The Legend of 5 Mile Cave - Review
A couple of weeks ago I was asked by INSP to do some writing for them again. You may remember the story I did on The Cowboys of The Cowboy Way. If not, click here and you can read it.
I really like INSP’s programs. They are wholesome, value-based, and appropriate for the entire family. When the Communications Coordinator of INSP emailed me about a new project I was ecstatic. Not only did I get to write about a brand new movie, but I got to watch it before it was even released to the public!
My husband had this honor back when Hidalgo premiered because he was in the movie. His family had horses in quite a few movies back in the day too. I bet you didn’t know that I am married to a movie star! Haha, that’s a conversation for another day. Anyway, this was a first for me, but I’m thinking it won’t be the last. I absolutely loved The Legend of 5 Mile Cave and I know you will too!

Here’s a quick rundown of the movie:
The Legend of 5 Mile Cave is a western mystery with some action and a love story all mixed together that spans from 1896 – 1929. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I give it two thumbs up! I won’t go into greater detail of how it all unfolds because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. I plan to blog in greater detail concerning my interviews with 3 of the stars of the show: Jill Wagner, Jet Jurgensmeyer, and Jeremy Sumpter. It was truly a pleasure to interview each of them and I really enjoyed their responses. Overall, I got a feeling that all of them really enjoyed making this movie and they all really enjoyed the filming process. I believe you can feel that in the characters they play. The movie definitely has a feel-good quality about it that you can sense when watching it. From the beginning scene I felt captivated by the story line. That captivation held me until the end. And the ending was fantastic!
I highly recommend that you take an hour and a half to sit down and watch this treat. I have a feeling you’ll be glad you did!
Stay tuned as I’ll be back with my individual interviews over the next two days before the premiere occurs on Sunday night.
