Black Hills Photo Shootout

I'm excited to have been chosen to be one of the 3 panel speakers at the Black Hills Photo Shootout for the women in business session. I will be joining Jenn Zeller (The South Dakota Cowgirl) and C.J. Garland (Perry Quarter Horses). A special thanks to Jenn for asking me to be a part of this!

This is beyond a dream for me as I've been working on developing my photography skills for quite some time. Doing this in Deadwood at the end of September will be such an amazing experience!

I began taking pictures with intent when I was 16 years old. My dad got me my first "good" camera. I fell in love with taking pictures long before that, but that gift sparked a fire in me that has grown so much in the last 5 years. I consider myself a student of photography. I've learned a lot along the way, but continue to learn daily. I think that's important no matter what your craft is. Falling in love with what you do creates such a satisfying feeling too! I'm excited to share with everyone at the workshop what I've learned about online business over the past decade plus. I'm also excited to learn from everyone there. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest...and I can't wait to add this weekend of learning surrounded by folks who have found a passion in their photography while sharing it with the world!
