Fire Rainbow

I love learning new things! Something caught my eye yesterday while we were branding. There was a short, straight, horizontal rainbow in the sky. It was not a Sun dog as those are vertical and pretty common. I was intrigued. I had to find out what it was because I’d never seen one quite like this before. Here’s what I learned... It’s called a fire rainbow or more scientifically a “Circumhorizontal Arc”. It was beautiful and unique. Things like this fascinate me! Have you ever seen something like this before?
