Do What You Love!

I’ve loved this quote for a long time. In fact, if you look at my profile it says “Loving what I do...doing what I love”. I feel blessed to be deeply involved in my ranch life and loving everything about it. • Don’t get me wrong, there are hard days in ranching...and plenty of them. However, the good far outweighs the bad. • Perhaps that is why I love sunrises and sunsets so much. A sunrise reminds me that it’s a new day that is fresh with possibility. A sunset reminds me to reflect and revive. If the day didn’t go as I had hoped I have the night to rest and focus my thoughts on what I can do to make tomorrow better. Most of the time I rearrange my thinking and that helps immensely. Being open-minded and positive helps a lot with that. • We all need things to look forward to now more than ever. Do what you love and don’t settle until you find what sets your soul on fire. Make time for things that make you smile. It’s in your power to create your own happiness. Go for it!
